This Week in Kindergarten…

It was so nice to be back at school together today and most of Wednesday!!  What a crazy two weeks of winter weather we’ve had!! I am hopeful that next week we are back to our normal schedule of school.

Thank you so much for all of the pictures you sent me of your Kinders reading at home! They are adorable and it was fun to share them with the class! The kids were excited to tell the class about them. If you didn’t get a chance to send one in yet, send me one this weekend if possible.

We had an AMAZING and FUN-FILLED 100th Day of School Celebration!! We did 100th day math activities…including…counting by fives and tens, writing numbers up to 100 and seeing how many numbers we could write in 100 seconds. We enjoyed making 100’s Day of School headbands that we wore throughout the day! We had 100th Day Celebration fun pages to do throughout the day!

We loved seeing all of the collections of 100 things!!

We got our picture taken to remember this 100th day of kindergarten!!

But, our very favorite part was the 100 snacks!! Yummy!!

I hope your Kinder enjoyed the 100’s day treat I sent home with them and told you all about their fun day!

We got together with our bus buddies on Friday for a story and a craft. We got to go to their classroom and enjoyed our time together! Their teacher, Mrs. Greenlund, read us a story called Love Monster. We learned about making friends from the story and then got to make our very own Love Monster. We had a fun time together!
